Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect and process your Personal Data through our Mobile Application and systems. We encourage you to read this Privacy Policy as well as our Terms and Conditions of Use.


Purpose of this document

In order to comply with the requirements of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), this Privacy Policy outlines the legal basis on which we process your Personal Data and provides other information required by GDPR.

“Personal Data” is information that can be used to identify you, directly or indirectly, alone or together with other information. This includes things such as your full name, email address, phone number, device IDs, certain cookies and network identifiers.

Who we are

roadtohealth Group Limited (“roadtohealth”), are the creator of the mobile application Quealth and its associated website (the “Website”)

For the purpose of this policy roadtohealth will be referred to as we, us, our. In GDPR roadtohealth Limited is the controller of the Personal Data you provide to us (“Data Controller”). As a Data Controller, we process the Personal Data we maintain about you in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

roadtohealth was formed to create innovative and effective solutions to enable you to fully understand your current state of health, learn how healthy you could possibly be and then achieve it with Quealth.

Our unique “Quealth Score” provides an easily understood ‘health state’ benchmark and our personalised ‘health coach’ programme provides an effective and accessible, self-empowered health improvement programme for you to make positive and sustainable changes to your lifestyle.

What personal information will roadtohealth collect about me

This privacy policy tells you:

  • Why we collect it

The information we collect

We use your data to provide you with your Quealth service. This may include:

  1. Your name and date of birth;

  2. Your personal contact details (email, phone, address, postcode);

  3. Details about any of your personal health history;

  4. Details about your family history;

  5. Details about your lifestyle;

  6. Biometric data such as your height, weight and blood pressure.

  7. Wearable data such as your physical activity, sleep and heart rate.

We will only collect data to the degree that this is necessary and relevant to deliver the service to you.

Why we collect it

In order for Quealth to be able to calculate its validated health risk algorithms, we need to establish a variety of personal health data points from you. We use this information to calculate your health risk and then provide you with health guidance and coaching tailored to your specific health risks.

How long we store it

We will retain your Personal Data for as long as you maintain an account or otherwise necessary to provide you the services. We will also retain your Personal Data as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. By giving us your personal data you consent to us processing it. We delete data if a five year period elapses without user login.

Where we no longer need to retain or process your Personal Data for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, we will delete your Personal Data from our systems.

We will also delete your Personal Data upon your request. If you’d like us to delete any of your data, please contact the Data Protection Officer at roadtohealth.

Our legal basis for processing your personal data

We collect and process your Personal Data for a variety of purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. In certain cases, separate consent is not required, including:

  1. For the performance of a contract: this is where we perform our contractual obligations to you in provision of the service.

  2. To meet legal obligations: this is in compliance with any laws, regulations, orders of court or any other legal obligations.

  3. For Legitimate Interests: We process your information in furtherance of our legitimate interest, including:

    • Develop and improve: Providing and improving our service to you as it is necessary to pursue our legitimate interests to provide and develop innovative and tailored offerings to our users.

    • Safely and security: we pursue our legitimate interest to keep your data safe and secure.

Consent, when, how and withdrawal

In some cases, we will ask for your consent to process your Personal Data. Consent will be obtained by asking you to confirm your consent through selection on the app or website to indicate your consent when providing us with your Personal Data by using our Services or when you register or create an account with us. The reasons and nature of the activity you are consenting to will be made clear at the point that we ask for your consent.

You can freely withdraw your consent any time and we will also make it clear how you can do that.

Who if anyone we disclose your personal data to

We do not share any of your personally identifiable data for commercial purposes with any other party and if this were to change we would ask for your consent in advance.

We do share some of your data in order to perform the service. These service providers will only have access to the information necessary to perform these limited functions on our behalf and are required to protect and secure your information.

Your rights and how you can see, update or delete your personal data


You are able to rectify much of your information by accessing this directly within the mobile application under its settings section. If you are unable to perform the actions you require please contact our support team by clicking here.


You may request that your account is deleted by contacting our Data Protection Officer who is part of our support team.


Where you have previously provided your consent, such as to permit us to process health-related data about you, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your information at any time. In certain cases, we may continue to process your information after you have withdrawn consent if we have legal basis to do so or if your withdrawal of consent was limited to certain processing activities.


If you require a copy of your data, please contact our support team. We will endeavour to provide this within 30 days and we will keep you updated as we progress your request.

Withdraw consent at any time

Consent can be freely withdrawn. You can do this by logging into your account on your mobile device or by contacting our support team


Quealth mobile application is provided for the use of users over the age of 18 and the Quealth Score is not validated for those under this age. In this context, we do not knowingly collect data from children and if we become aware that a child has provided us with information we will take measures to delete this data and terminate the account concerned.

Right to complain

Should you wish to complain or if you have any questions regarding our processing of your personal data, please contact us via our support team. Alternatively, in the UK you can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office at http://www.ico.org.uk/.

  • To provide guidance on areas of health risk and potential changes you can make

  • To support your creation of a Health Plan

  • To support health coaching tailored for you

  • To track biometrics such as physical activity, blood pressure and weight

  • To undertake customer satisfaction surveys and market research

  • Respond to your enquiries and complaints

  • Notify you about changes to our products and services

roadtohealth delivers a series of digital health solutions for our markets including Quealth, Healthia mobile apps and roadtohealth health risk scoring for selected companies. The sites and resource linked below are managed by roadtohealth.

Social media services

roadtohealth use social media services including Facebook and Twitter in particular, specifically to provide you with seamless login to our products and services using your social media account credentials. You can control access to your account via your social media provider.

roadtohealth provide updates on our social media channels (Facebook and Twitter) highlighting health risk and wellness related posts. We do not share your personal data with any social media organisations nor users.

We encourage people to bring it to our attention if they think that our collection or use of information is unfair, misleading or inappropriate.
